Waterproof Jewelry
Waterproof Jewelry
All of our jewelry is waterproof and ready to wear all day, every day!
It can go in the ocean, in the pool or in the shower with you. It loves soapy water to stay clean and shiny.
Made with 18k gold bonded with recycled stainless steel and natural (imperfect) gemstones - please expect some natural colour variation in each gemstone.
Gold bonding is a method which produces a long lasting gold finish even if worn in the water. It is a more sustainable alternative to solid gold. They will not tarnish or change colour and will stay as new for a long time.
We use real gemstones which may require a clean every so often.
In a bowl, mix some dish soap with boiling hot water. Drop your AHHA Jewelry in for at least 30 min, soap it up nicely and massage the foam into the grooves. Rinse off well and its ready to wear.
Sustainable Materials
Sustainable Materials
We select our materials carefully, aiming to recycle and reuse as much as possible.
- Medical grade recycled stainless steel (min 60% recycled material)
- 18k gold
- Real gemstones with minor imperfections (they have been rejected by fine jewelry makers despite their natural beauty)
- Real cultured freshwater pearls - meaning they have been grown for this purpose rather than extracted from wild environments
- Glass beads with high content recycled glass

Learn the fundamentals of ceramic crafting in this beginner-friendly Sunday class. You'll hand-build and hand-paint your own unique jewelry dish or small plate, guided by experienced instructors. Perfect for first-time potters, this session covers basic techniques, glazing, and finishing touches. Take home a one-of-a-kind piece you've created yourself. All materials and tools provided. No prior experience necessary.
Please note, the full experience for this class is in 2 parts, at least a week apart.
Part 1 - make your items which will then be fired in a kiln before they can be painted.
Part 2 - paint your items and they will be fired again to solidify the glaze.
We can schedule a suitable date for Part 2 when you come in for your Part 1 class.
Alternatively, you can choose the Paint only option and use a ready made dish to paint.
Each part will run for around 1h - 1.5h
Min 4 people required for the class to go ahead. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule classes that don't meet this criteria.
